ERW steel pipe is a straight seam electric resistance welded pipe, abbreviated as ERW pipe, which is a round pipe welded by steel plates. It is used to transport vapor and liquid objects such as oil and n atural gas, and can meet various requirements of high and low pressure.
API 5L is generally refers to the standards of pipeline steel, include pipeline pipe and pipeline steel plate. Pipeline steel pipe is used to extract oil, steam, water on the ground to the oil and gas industry enterprises.

Grades covered by API 5L standards are A25 ,A ,B and "X" Grades such as X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80 ans so on). The two digit number following the "X" indicates the Minimum Yield Strength (in 000's psi) of pipe produced to this grade.

API 5L X70 pipe is a premium grade piping material in API 5L standard specifications. Also called L485 pipe, as it’s yield strength minimum in 485 Mpa (70,300 psi). API 5L X70 covers manufacturing types in seamless and welded (ERW, SAW) types, both applied for oil and gas transmissions.
API 5L x52 psl2 standard carbon steel pipe
API 5L X52 PSL2 Pipe are supplied as hot rolled. Only tubes with DN 6 -10, perhaps tubes of other dimensions are supplied as cold drawn and after forming they are heat treated.
